I’m Laura Robinson, a recently qualified and registered medical herbalist and scientist based in Rustington, West Sussex. As a scientist and medical herbalist, I have a passion for combining traditional herbal medicine with up-to-date scientific research to improve the health and vitality of my patients.

My main areas of focus include digestive disorders, urinary tract infections (UTI), PMS/menstrual disorders/menopause, anxiety, stress, and low-grade depression, as well as support for other chronic conditions such as allergies, atopic eczema, and contact dermatitis.

I believe that a holistic approach to healthcare is essential, which is why I’m dedicated to taking the time to get to know each patient and their unique needs. By combining my scientific knowledge with traditional herbal remedies, I aim to provide personalized treatment plans that work for each individual.

Whether it’s helping someone overcome chronic digestive issues or finding natural solutions to alleviate stress and anxiety, I take pride in working with my patients to achieve their health goals. With a warm and empathetic approach, I hope to make each patient feel heard and supported throughout their healing journey.

I am a qualified practitioner of medical herbalism and registered with the National Institute of Medical Herbalists (NIMH).

As a complementary practitioner, I understand the value of both traditional and modern medical practices. That’s why I’m committed to embracing orthodox medicine alongside traditional herbal medicine to provide patients with the most comprehensive care possible.

My three-year degree-equivalent qualification with Heartwood Education, coupled with over 500 hours of supervised clinical training, has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to combine the best of both worlds. By blending the latest scientific research with centuries of traditional wisdom, I aim to provide patients with personalized treatment plans that meet their unique needs.

I also recognize the challenges faced by busy GPs, who must manage short appointment times with their patients. That’s why I’m dedicated to taking the time needed to fully understand each patient’s concerns, which can lead to better health outcomes and a more fulfilling patient experience.
