I’m Laura Robinson, a qualified and registered medical herbalist with a background in science, based in Exmoor, West Somerset. I offer a limited number of one-to-one consultations, alongside teaching, workshops, and small-batch herbal formulation.
My approach combines traditional herbal practice with evidence-informed, up-to-date scientific understanding, and is intended to complement—not replace—conventional medical care. I take time to understand the full picture: medical history, current medication, lifestyle factors, and the patterns that may be contributing to ongoing symptoms.

Training and practice

Laura Robinson, West Sussex Medical Herbalist
My training includes a three-year degree-equivalent qualification with Heartwood Education and 500+ hours of supervised clinical practice. I’m mindful of how pressured GP appointments can be; consultations with me allow space for thorough case-taking, careful questioning, and a structured plan you can follow.
